The therapeutic benefits of Cranial Electrical Stimulation (CES) therapy have been well-known, well-studied and repeatedly demonstrated by a multitude of research studies and publications over a 50 year time span. CES therapy is useful for managing stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, addictions, and pain.
The Neuroscope differs from other CES units in that it is calibrated with impedance measure control. This means that it recognizes and measures resistance by detecting the current flow between two electrodes. When the Neuroscope recognizes a blockage in the flow of current (based on the information provided by the indifferent or "healthy" probe), it sends a calculated output current to correct the area of impedance.

- Lightweight and extremely portable
- Uses ear clips and headband to deliver microcurrent for Cranial Electrical Stimulation (CES) therapy
- Treatment enables regulation and relaxation by balancing the right and left hemisphere of the brain brining the user into an "alpha/theta state".
- Can be retailed to spa or medi-spa clientele for home use between treatments
- Documented randomized controlled trials have shown CES therapy to be effective in:
- Treating mild to moderate primary or secondary anxiety and depressive conditions
- Normalization of central hemodynamics in Stage I hypertension
- Relief of headache pain
- Relief of pain resulting from dental surgery
- Relief of pain resulting from cancer
- Potentiating through centrally-mediated action the effect of analgestic drugs, or replacing them altogether
- Increasing the depth of anesthesia
- Increasing attention and the ability to learn new tasks
- Relieving primary insomnia, mild depression, post-axonic spasticity, miniumal brain dysfunction and mood changes subsequent to closed head injury
