The Electro-Myopulse is used to treat and provide relief to disorders of the muscle, tendon, ligament, and fascia. Unlike traditional muscle stim devices that use high levels of voltage to produce traumatic contractions previously thought to be necessary for releasing spasm or strengthening, the Myopulse uses micro-electrical stimulation to create a normalization of the electrical field. This enables for spasm
reduction and the release of cell wall constriction with increased local blood flow.
The Myopulse works by scanning muscle fiber, tendon, ligament, or fascia to detect abnormalities in the electrical field generated by tissue comprised of contractile cells.
The machine will then reduce
abnormally high electrical potentials produced by over-firing
musculature and increase potentials where weak, flaccid fiber’s need to be raised
for increased strength or contractile capability
